RINGSPANN developed the new DH 12 FEM brake calliper for a high performance at a compact build. These spring-actuated and electromagnetically released brake callipers achieve a clamping force of 1750 N at a weight of just 7 kg. Other advantages include corrosion-protected surfaces and protection type IP 64 seals. Swivelling friction blocks ensure full-area brake disc contact. The brake calliper is available for input voltages of 110 and 230 VAC, 50 - 60 Hz and can be operated at an on-time of 100%. Power consumption in the open state is as low as 12 W. RINGSPANN present the newly developed DH 12 FEM brake calliper on this year’s Hanover Trade Fair.
